MPEG HELP
MPEG 1,2 & 4 files are compressed files of the original video ( .avi) file. The video does loose quality due to the compression when creating MPEG's. Below is an explaination of the different MPEG types.
MPEG1 is the most compressed and is mostly used with syncing and just playing in your computer in windows media player or similar player.
MPEG2 & 4 are less compressed and will be the closest format to the original video.
These files can be imported in to all triail software like Trial Director, Sanction, or Real Legal.
Instructions for Windows Operating System only:
**If your copies are on a DVD, you will need a DVD player in your computer to play them**.
This CD or DVD will only play in a laptop or PC that has an MPEG player, such as Windows Media Player. Please make sure your sound card is working and adjusted.
Insert your disk into your CD ROM. After 5 to 30 seconds your video should automatically start to play.
If your PC or laptop does not play the video, follow these steps.
Click "start"
Click "run"
Click "browse"

In the "look in" window, click the down arrow and locate your CD ROM drive. It should be the drive labeled "D" or "E" or "F" or "G" or etc.
There should be a LMOC logo marking the drive.
Double Click on that Drive.
In the Browse window at the bottom under file types, click the drop down arrow and select "All Files"
Double Click on the file that is labeled with the name of the deponent followed by the date in CAPS."
For example: JOHNSON_010113
Click "Ok"
